In a small New Zealand town known as the ‘Kiwifruit Capital of the World’, disease ravages vines and decimates the industry. Facing ruin, Greg spirals into anger. He pushes his wife Trish away, leaving her isolated and depressed. When Greg is forced to fire his long-term friend and employee, he lashes out at his neighbour whom he believes imported the disease. When Trish sees the monster her husband has become she must decide whether she will stay or go.
